The Executive Team

Dr. Angela Anarfi Gyasi-Gyamerah (CEO) is a Social Psychologist and a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Psychology, University of Ghana. She is a member of the Ghana Psychology Council (GPC) and the Ghana Psychological Association (GPA). She set up Dialogue Genitalia Ghana in 2017 with the help of the rest of the executive team and patrons. Her research interest is in sexuality and sexual and reproductive health issues.


Mrs. Hannah A. K. Appiah (Deputy CEO) is the Country Director for the Council on International Education Exchange (CIEE) at the University of Ghana, Legon. She is also a Doctoral Candidate at the Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIPS), University of Ghana. Her research focus is on Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases, specifically persons living with Autoimmune Rheumatic Diseases in Ghana. She is also a literary enthusiast, writer, and blogger.


Ms. Julia Agyeiwaa Anarfi (Financial Secretary) is an Accounting Assistant with the Finance Directorate of the University of Ghana. She holds a first degree in Accounting, an MPhil in Finance, and is currently an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.


Doreen Abena Kyerewaa Akata is the General Manager of Dialogue Genitalia Ghana (DGG). She has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Ghana. She is passionate about human equity and women’s empowerment.
