Youth Club in Billa Mahmud Memorial Future Leaders School

The first school DGG has started off this initiative is the Billa Mahmud Memorial Future Leaders School in Teshie, Accra. The DGG team met with the Headmistress and some teachers at the school on 16th July 2021, to introduce SWAG4Life. On the 13^th of August 2021, DGG got to meet and interact with the JHS students where they signed up for the club and elected their executives. So far, we have had two educational sessions with the students.  The first was on Personal Hygiene and Grooming and as part of the program, some personal hygiene and grooming items were donated to the students through the support of benevolent donors.  The second session was titled ‘Red Zone’ and within the session we discussed sex and what constitutes healthy and unhealthy sexual behaviours with the students. We also organized a stress management workshop for the teachers at the school.
